After time away, overdue tasks, missed items and consequences can pile up. Fresh start clears that backlog in one step, without leaving the relationship. Your rituals, tasks, rewards, punishment library, contract, notes and photos stay. The dominant starts it; in solo mode you start it yourself. A submissive cannot start it. It is free.

## Why it exists

A relationship that stepped away should not have to choose between a screen full of old misses and leaving to start again. Fresh start clears the punishment that built up and keeps everything you set up together.

## Capabilities

### See it before you clear it

A preview shows how many overdue tasks, active consequences, missed items and pending requests will be cleared, and the points that come back. You hold a button to confirm.

### Misses removed, points restored

Logged misses are removed and the points they took are given back.

### Overdue tasks handled

Overdue one-off tasks lose their due date and stay on your task list. Recurring tasks move on to their next date without a new miss.

### Consequences and requests cleared

Active consequences and pending requests are cancelled, and pending proposals are withdrawn.

### Chastity time from misses removed

If missed items added time to the current lock, that time comes off. The preview shows the new unlock date, or warns you if the lock ends now and a sealed release photo is revealed.

### History stays

Streaks are not restored. Completed work and consequences already served stay in your history. History from cancelled restrictions is cleared with them.

## How each role uses it

### For Dominants (Dominant)

Clear what piled up without starting over.

- Start it from relationship settings, under Fresh start
- A Been away? banner shows on your home screen when more than 10 tasks are overdue or more than 20 misses are logged
- See the counts before you confirm
- If a very large backlog does not clear in one run, run it again to clear the rest

### For Submissives (submissive)

Come back without a long list of old misses. Your dominant starts it.

- Get one notification when the backlog is cleared
- Points taken by the cleared misses come back to your balance
- Lock time those misses added to your current lock is removed
- Completed work stays in your history
