Plans change. A submissive can ask for more time on a task before its deadline, with a reason. The Dominant approves, picks a different time, or denies, and can add a penalty. The Dominant can also skip the next occurrence of a recurring task, or a ritual day, so it does not count as a miss. In a solo dynamic there is nobody to ask, but you can skip your own recurring tasks and ritual days. Asking and skipping are free; a chastity or punishment penalty is a Premium feature, and any partner's Premium unlocks it.

## Why it exists

Deadlines meet real life. Without a way to ask, a submissive either misses the task or asks outside the app, and the miss has to be corrected later. More time and skips let partners change one deadline ahead of time, inside the app, while the deadline rules stay in place.

## Capabilities

### Request more time

From the task, the submissive picks a new deadline and writes a reason of up to 200 characters. The Dominant gets a notification.

### Answer with an optional penalty

The Dominant approves, approves with a different time, or denies, with an optional note. Either answer can add a penalty: take points, add chastity days to an active lock, or assign a punishment that is not a restriction.

### The deadline keeps running

A waiting request does not pause the deadline. If time runs out first, the request expires and the miss counts. Each task can have one request waiting at a time, and the submissive can withdraw it.

### Limits on repeating tasks

A repeating task can only move later on the same day, before its next occurrence. Quota tasks, such as three times a week, cannot be extended.

### Skip this one

The Dominant can skip the next occurrence of a scheduled recurring task. No miss, no points, and the next one stays on schedule. The submissive gets a notification. Quota tasks and the last occurrence cannot be skipped.

### Skip today on a ritual

The Dominant can skip today on a ritual, with an optional reason. A skipped day is not logged as a miss, and the submissive gets a notification.

## How each role uses it

### For Dominants (Dominant)

Change one deadline ahead of time, in the app.

- Answer requests under Awaiting Your Decision on your home screen
- Approve a different time than the one asked for
- Add a penalty when you approve or deny
- Skip one occurrence of a task or a ritual day

### For Submissives (submissive)

Requests go in before the deadline, not after.

- Use Request more time on the task, with a reason
- See the status on the task: Extension requested, Extended or Extension denied
- Withdraw a request that is still waiting
- Get a notification when a task occurrence or a ritual day is skipped

## Use cases

- Working late: ask to move tonight's task from 8pm to 11pm
- Travel day: the Dominant skips one occurrence of a daily task
- Sick day: the Dominant skips today's ritual with a reason
- Extra time with a cost: the request is approved and points are taken
