Accountability

Consequences & Discipline System

Enforce boundaries your way

Consequences give structure to discipline. Without them, boundaries are suggestions. With them, both partners know exactly what happens when expectations aren't met — and what great performance earns.

Two consequence types for different situations: timer-based tasks require active participation (corner time, writing lines), while restrictions are passive time-periods (no screen time until Sunday). Both support photo verification and violation tracking.

In most D/s dynamics, consequences are discussed but rarely formalized. Partners agree on rules, but when those rules are broken, the response is improvised — inconsistent at best, forgotten at worst. Kneel's consequence system changes this by making discipline a shared, transparent process. Dominants build a library of consequences organized by severity, each with a clear description, timer duration, and optional proof requirement. When a consequence is assigned, the submissive receives it with full context: what it is, why it was given, how long it lasts, and whether photo verification is required. Both partners can see active consequences, completed ones, and the history over time. This isn't punishment for its own sake — it's accountability that both partners have agreed to, tracked in a way that removes ambiguity and builds trust.

Capabilities

Timer Tasks

Active participation consequences with start/stop timers. Sub must complete the full duration.

Restrictions

Time-limited or indefinite restrictions. Track violations with an honor-based system.

Photo Verification

Require photo proof of completion. Review and approve before marking verified.

Severity Levels

Categorize consequences as minor, moderate, or severe. Build a graduated discipline system.

Violation Tracking

Log restriction violations with notes. Track patterns over time.

Library System

Save frequently-used consequences to your library. Assign with one tap.

Punishment & rewards jar

Spin a random draw from your punishment library or reward catalog — useful when you want chance to pick the next assignment or treat.

Role Perspectives

D

For Dominants

Structure your discipline approach with clear consequences.

  • Build a library of consequences matched to specific behaviors
  • Assign timer or restriction based on the situation
  • Verify completion with photo proof when needed
  • Track violation patterns to adjust your approach
s

For Submissives

Clear expectations for when boundaries are tested.

  • Know exactly what's expected during consequences
  • Timer shows progress toward completion
  • Restrictions have clear end dates (or are indefinite)
  • Photo proof ensures your effort is seen

Use Cases

1

Corner time: 15-minute timer with photo verification

2

Writing lines: Timer-based task with submission of completed work

3

Screen restriction: No social media until the weekend

4

Service requirement: Extra chores until further notice
