We respect your right to leave. Here's how to delete your account and what happens to your data.

Step by Step

How to delete your account

Account deletion is done entirely within the Kneel app for your security.

In the Kneel App

Settings → Privacy Settings → Delete My Account

  1. 1Open the Kneel app
  2. 2Tap the Settings tab
  3. 3Scroll to "Data & Privacy" section
  4. 4Tap Privacy Settings
  5. 5Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section
  6. 6Tap Delete My Account
  7. 7Type "DELETE" to confirm
  8. 8Your account and all data will be permanently removed

Complete Removal

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, all of your personal data is permanently removed from our systems.

Dynamic Membership

You are removed from all relationships (dynamics)

Dynamic Data

If you're the last member, the entire dynamic is deleted — including tasks, rituals, check-ins, and consequences

Notifications

All notifications and push notification settings

Auth Sessions

All login sessions and authentication tokens

OAuth Accounts

Google and Apple sign-in connections

Profile Image

Your uploaded profile photo is deleted from storage

Legal Acceptances

Terms of service acceptance records

Data Export Requests

Any pending data export requests

Sponsorship Data

If you sponsor others, that data is cleared

Important to Know

  • Immediate effect — Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm. There is no waiting period.
  • Permanent — This action cannot be undone. Your data cannot be recovered.
  • No data retention — We do not keep any personal data after deletion.
  • Partners notified — Your partners will be notified that you left, but their dynamics continue.
