Accountability

Correct a Miss From the Log

Marked missed by mistake? Undo it.

Misses are not always real. A task done offline, a completion that did not sync, a window that should have been excused: each can land on the log as a penalty that was never earned. Miss correction lets the dominant undo it straight from the log, reversing the penalty and restoring points and streaks, with no time window to race against.

When a task or ritual is missed, it appears on the accountability log with its penalty applied. If it should not have counted, the dominant taps the missed entry on the log and marks it completed. The penalty reverses: points are restored and the streak is repaired. There is no time window, so an old miss can be corrected whenever the truth comes out.

Capabilities

Log-anchored

Correction happens right where the miss lives. Tap the missed task or ritual on the accountability log; no separate screen or workflow.

Penalty reversal

Marking the miss completed undoes its consequence. Deducted points are returned and the affected streak is restored.

Streak repair

A miss that broke a streak no longer does once corrected. The streak reads as if the item had been completed on time.

No time window

There is no deadline to correct a miss. A misfire from last week can be fixed today.

Role Perspectives

D

For Dominants

Keep the record honest when a miss was wrong.

  • Reverse a penalty the submissive did not actually earn
  • Correct it straight from the log, no digging
  • Restore points and streaks in one action
  • Fix old misses with no expiry on the correction
s

For Submissives

A wrong miss does not have to stand.

  • Mistaken misses can be undone, points and all
  • Streaks you actually kept get repaired
  • No race against a window to get it corrected
  • The log stays an accurate record of what happened

Use Cases

1

Completed offline: the task was done but logged late; mark it complete and restore the streak

2

Counted during travel: a miss that should have been excused, reversed from the log

3

Connectivity lapse: a completion that did not sync gets corrected after the fact

4

Discretionary forgiveness: the dominant chooses to wipe a miss and return the points
